In starting this blog we have thought of the many small things that make us happy. As we house sit in preparation for a short overseas trip to Italy, we have found ourselves missing our animals, our cats and chickens, in particular. As we make final preparations away from home, miss our neighborhood friends and our garden, we have joined forces to compile this blog. Both of us intend to contribute. Colin with his quirky sense of humor and me with my day by day musings.

Our cats then are springing about here, happy as anything to be with us.
