The first of the glorious winter shades. These blush pink beauties are the first of the doubles to flower. They were a welcome hello to the winter school holidays when I was teaching.

They are so pretty. I can grow camellias in my area and I don’t think I have seen that shade. Is your vase an antique? I collect old vases and pots similar to that.

These are my favourite camellia. Yes, the vase is from the 1940’s.
