Why are the streets empty, you may well ask, because it was 37 degrees C!
The winter seeds are planted, the garden raked, pots spruced up, house secured, cats and magpies fed and chores completed. Time to travel back to see family in Prague, Trieste and Rijeka. Please join me as we revisit some wonderful cities and beautiful gardens. Happy gardening!
Back to the old beach
Garden meets seaside Sorrento. Beautiful succulents, Eco shop and recycled metals.
We have been visiting Prague to research some family connections (see my blog Findingstanvodak ). Even though this has been quite time consuming, not to mention difficult, as we do not speak Czech, we have still managed to incorporate some sightseeing.
These beautiful pots caught my eye during a recent visit to the famous Prague Castle.

I don’t think any of these displays are beyond the average gardener! Just good soil, good pots and plenty of time.
Our stay on the island has ended but not without a dramatic twilight farewell. These sunsets mesmerized us as we gazed out to Horseshoe Bay. We marveled at the beauty, the russet colours and time, for us, stood still.
Mother Nature is reminding us to take time to be still, appreciate and embrace serenity.
Sunsets herald a new day and celebrate our existence. We are grateful to have escaped the cold for a short time and now return to our mountain home. I hope you can find some time to stare out into your sunset afternoon.
